SOULKITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PAYMENT Full payment must be received before the commencement of each lesson or equipment rental. Should payment not be received, SoulKite reserves the right to treat the bookings as cancelled.
Customers are to notify SoulKite via phone or email greater than 24 hours prior to their lesson or equipment rental if they wish to cancel or rebook their lesson without incurring a cancellation fee. Within 24 hours days of the lesson or equipment rental date, no shows and late arrivals: participants forfeit their booking and are not entitled to a refund. In the event of a lesson being cancelled by SoulKite the customer may rebook at a later date or have their payment extended for a year from the booking date. In the event of a course being abandoned you will be offered an alternative activity or the remaining time on a future course.
REFUND AND RETURNS PROCEDURE Client will obtain a refund or credit only when:
• The client notifies SoulKite 24 hours prior to the time of the booking (lesson or rental).
• The instructor cancels the activity due to unsuitable condition. No refund will be offer if it rains. An administration fee of 10% will be charge for every refund.
Gift and lesson vouchers are valid twelve months from the date of purchase. Vouchers are transferable between all courses and can be given to a third party. Refunds are not possible under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of the recipient to book and complete the course or the gift within the twelve-month voucher period. Lost lesson and gift vouchers may be redeemed if proof of purchase can be shown. SoulKite reserves the right to refuse a replacement.
HIRE OF EQUIPMENT KITESURFING
RENTAL POLICY K
itesurfing equipment will be rent from SoulKite Office under appointment only. The hirer will have to prove his Kitesurfing level either with an IKO card or by doing 1-hour lesson-test with a SoulKite instructor at on of our teaching spots (Applecross or Point Walter Reserve). If so, the price of the lesson-test ($80) will be discounted on the price of the rental. The hirer is responsible for returning the equipment back to the office on time. In the event that the equipment is returned late an extra charge will be incurred ($150 per day). If the hirer is late for his booked equipment hire we cannot extend the time so please ensure being on time. Deposit: a copy of the ID card/Passport will be required as well as a copy of the credit card. Damage: please inspect your equipment prior to taking it out. We check it upon return and charge against your credit card for any dings or damage. If the gear can be fixed, the customer will be charge the price of the repair. If no repair is possible, the customer will pay the price of equipment lost as following:
• Board lost or broken: $500
• Kite lost or broken: $1300
• Bar lost or broken: $400
• Harness lost or broken: $200
• Pump lost or broken: $50
STAND UP PADDLE RENTAL POLICY
While we strive to make paddling accessible to all, we must enforce a policy whereby only experienced SUP paddlers can rent SUP boards from us at locations that are suitable for SUP. We require the following items be worn while paddling with absolutely no exceptions:
• Leash / leg-rope,
• Mobile phone in a wet bag – in case of an emergency,
• A watch so you can watch your time.
Should you stay out beyond one hour, you will be charged for additional time according to rental prices ($25 per hour). We currently provide supervised SUP hire at:
• Black Walls Reach, Bicton,
• Bicton Baths, Bicton.
There are many locations not suitable for paddle boarding and can have hidden dangers. Weather conditions can also be unpredictable in some locations.
Stand up Paddle equipment can be rent from SoulKite Office under appointment only. The hirer is responsible for returning the equipment back the office on time. In the event that the equipment is returned late an extra charge will be incurred ($50 per day). If the hirer is late for his booked equipment hire we cannot extend the time so please ensure being on time.
